Hado in the Dojo

Solidarity across the School
Beautiful examples of messages of solidarity for refugees displayed across the school. Students took time to reflect upon the struggles for refugees, before designing stain glass bible messages of hope and strength which have been placed around the school.

Exploring Refugees through Maths
Maths students were able to develop their subject skills alongside exploring the volume of refugees created by the war in the Ukraine. The power of the size of the numbers enabled students to reflect on the huge number of families who have been so badly impacted by the war.

Exploring 'Early Modern Refugees'
Students in English lessons exploring Elizabethan plays which reveal examples of rioting crowds who vent their anger at refugees. Students reflected on how refugees throughout history have often have been victims of discrimination and hatred in spite of the challenges they face.

Refugee App Design
